Low self-esteem, abortions, molestation, prostitution, divorce, homelessness and single parenting have together and separately given me a front row seat in my own “classroom of hopelessness”.
But with the help of my God, I refused to give in to the unhealthy and festering circumstances that surrounded my youth. Determined not to quit and fully understanding that surviving hard times breeds both strength and resilience.
Committed to becoming the change I wanted to see, I found my calling as a transformational educator, teaching K-12 for over 10 years. I went on to become an inspirational author, workshop facilitator, empowering speaker and passionate advocate for girls and young women, as well as a member of the John Maxwell Team.
Eventually, following my own light, I transitioned from being a transformational educator to a Master Transformational Coach. My motto is "crisis breeds creativity, courage and critical thinking skills that can turn your life around", and I strive every day to share this message as the Curator of Dez-Three-Sixty, my multimedia brand that includes a podcast, blog, books and apparel.
I UNDERSTAND who you are and what has happened, I have been there before and overcame it with massive adversity. I am here to guide you into the right direction and relieve you from any outstanding pain. You're on this page for a reason.. & I am here to give you my hand.
